AREV ways to be

for AREV CLUB members

MEMBERSHIP CLUB HOUSE RULES

By completing and submitting your application for the Membership Club through the Arev Collection website, you agree to be bound by these House Rules.

Arev is designed as glamorous, luxury escape where our guests can pause their busy lives, enjoy what really matters and celebrate. Fun and antics are not only allowed, but strongly encouraged and applauded. With this said, we have created few golden rules to help everyone feel safe and at home.

  • We spent A LOT of time and effort making Arev the luxury oasis that it is. Enjoy our facilities to the full, but in a way that prevents any unintended or intended damage, or makes others not have an enjoyable stay with us.
  • Our guests are here to enjoy a carefree time, freed from everyday constraints and humdrum. Everyone needs to let their hair down now and again, safe in the knowledge that their privacy is protected and respected. Please refrain from taking photos, videos or any other recordings of other guests, and staff, and respect the personal space and wishes of others. In particular, please do not take any photos or videos in the general area of any celebrity.
  • Our staff have been carefully selected and trained to provide the best of warm, Tropezian hospitality to you. Please respect them and their work when staying with us.
  • Our dinner venues are the epitome of Saint Tropez glamour of the bygone times. When dining or enjoying drinks with us in the evening, let’s dress to dazzle! We ask that you do not wear beach attire, including--but not limited to-- flip-flops (or similar “beach” shoes), shorts, cover-ups, swim trunks and bathing suits. Sports caps, sweatshirts, sweatpants, athletic shorts, and team shirts/uniforms are best reserved for days out in sports venues, so please leave those behind when getting ready for dinner. Finally, please refrain from clothing or accessories that display divisive, or otherwise offensive sayings or images.
  • We are all different and unique – this is what makes the world more fun! Be respectful of cultural and religious traditions and practices, personal appearance and disabilities of all guest and staff of the Hotel.
  • However tempting things might get when in vacation mode, be respectful of local laws and regulations. Avoid any conduct that is unethical, unlawful, indecent, inappropriate or contrary to accepted standards of behavior, law and order and local laws, including, for example, verbal abuse, obscene or abusive gestures, physical violence, reprehensible acts, drug use, alcohol abuse or any other behavior that could be a source of annoyance or nuisance to other guests or to the Hotel staff.
  • Our mission is to provide the best, memorable experience for you and your loved ones. We ask that in return, you respect agreed contractual and payment terms before, during and after a stay for all Guest Services enjoyed.
  • And most importantly … have fun!

In addition to Arev Club golden rules, below House Rules apply to all Arev Club Members.

USING THE HOTEL FACILITIES

  1. Membership cards

Your physical or digital membership card must be presented to a host or welcomer to gain entry to the Hotel and its facilities. Members should also expect to be asked to present their membership card when they sit down to eat or drink, or if they open a bar tab. Where any member allows their card to be used by a non-member, such non-member shall be denied access to or removed from the Hotel, and the member whose card was used may face suspension or termination of their own membership. Please notify us immediately if your membership card is lost or stolen.

  1. Guests

Members are permitted to bring up to three guests with them only to the Padel Court and any number of guests may accompany them for a meal at The Strand (table reservations may be required). Please be aware that during very busy times we may have to restrict member/guest access to certain areas of the Hotel. Use of Arev pool is restricted to Club members only. A member’s guests may not enter the Hotel without that member being present. Members may not be separated from their guests within the Hotel or allow their guests to remain in the Hotel when they leave. Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests follow all House rules and policies, even when the member is not in the company of their guests, and a member may face suspension or termination of their membership if their guests violate such rules or policies.

  1. Children

The Hotel is designed for adults but aims to be child-friendly. Please be considerate of other members and guests when you bring children, who count as part of your guest allowance. Please remember that your children are your responsibility at all times when present in the Hotel, and ensure they are not left unattended at any time. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed in Hotel Facilities for security reasons.

  1. Animals

Arev loves pets and members are allowed to bring their dogs with them. For hygiene reasons, dogs are not allowed in the pool area or Spa, and must be accompanied and on leash at all times whilst at the hotel facilities.

  1. Private hire and House maintenance

The Hotel may at times, with or without notice, close all or part of the Hotel and Hotel facilities to members and their guests for private events or for necessary maintenance, repair or redecoration work. We will seek to ensure that any such area, facility or service is reinstated as soon as practicable. The Hotel reserves the right to compensate members for any closures through any method that they see fit.

Where we close part of a Hotel for private events, please refrain from communicating any information about the event to third parties via any medium.

  1. Use of equipment and facilities

Use of any of the gym or fitness equipment, areas or facilities available at the Hotel is entirely at risk of a member or hotel guest. Members are not permitted to bring guests to the gym. You must not use any equipment, or undertake any activity at a Hotel, unless you are satisfied that you are competent to do so in a safe and proper manner. You will also be required to complete a health commitment statement confirming that you are in good health and in a fit state to use our gyms.

When using any equipment and facilities available at the Hotel, you must take care to safeguard your own health and safety, and that of other people. You will be solely responsible for any loss or injury that you cause to yourself, other persons, or to the equipment or facilities through your unsafe or improper use of the equipment or facilities. This includes your use of them while under the influence of alcohol or medication, or your failure to advise staff of a medical condition relevant to your use of the equipment or facilities.

  1. Disciplinary procedure

Conduct by a member or guest that is prejudicial to the reputation and character of Arev may result in suspension or expulsion of such member or guest. Such conduct may include inappropriate, violent or abusive behavior, or the communication of information concerning the Hotel’s confidential information, members or their guests in the Hotel to the media or failure to settle any charges   in a timely manner. An expelled member may not return to the Hotel as a guest. A refund of the expelled member’s subscription will be at the discretion of the Hotel. Any member or members who willfully remove, damage or destroy any property belonging to the Hotel, or to members or guests on the premises of the Hotel, will be liable to expulsion and/or suspension or termination of their membership.

Every member binds themselves to abide by the rules, bylaws and regulations of the Hotel at all times upon acceptance as a member. If the Hotel considers that any member’s (or their guests) conduct either inside or outside of the Hotel premises is, at its absolute discretion, contrary to the interests of the Hotel, the Hotel may with immediate effect expel the member or guest from the Hotel premises, and/or suspend or terminate that member’s membership without having to give any reason to such member or guest.

If a member is placed on suspension for any reason, the Hotel reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to charge and collect such member’s membership dues and fees during such period of suspension, should they so arise.

  1. Charging Privileges

Club members will enjoy charging privileges and will be able to charge bills such as spa, restaurant and bar to their account. Accounts will be produced and provided to members on monthly basis by the 5th of each month and must be paid by the 15th of each month for the previous month. In case of any dispute on charges, members must notify the Hotel immediately by e-mailing arevclubst@arevcollection.com. Failure to settle the accounts within the prescribed time limit may lead to evoking of disciplinary procedure.

  1. Rights and privileges of membership

A member shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of the Hotel granted to a person in their capacity as a member and shall be bound by these rules, but shall have no proprietary rights in any of the premises or in respect of property of the Hotel.

  1. Amendments to the House rules

From time to time, the Hotel may, in its sole and absolute discretion, amend our House rules in the best interest of our members, guests and/or employees. Please be aware that such amended House rules shall apply to you at all times.
